Skyline opens Coast Conference play tonight when they travel to Evergreen Valley College in San Jose for a 6:30pm match under the lights.

Skyline has demonstrated a well-balanced and dynamic offensive presence this season, as reflected in their strong 5-2-1 overall record. The team's attacking unit is led by standout sophomores Valerie Latu Nava and Haylee Klingler, who have been instrumental in the Trojans' scoring prowess. Latu Nava currently tops the squad with 14 points, tallying six goals and two assists. Her ability to create scoring opportunities has been complemented by Klingler's impressive six goals, making them a formidable duo up front.

Adding to Skyline's offensive depth is sophomore Fabiana Bolanos, who has netted five goals and provided one assist, making her a consistent scoring threat. Supporting the attack, Mariah Stansberry has been the team's playmaking engine, leading the team in assists with five. Her vision and creativity in midfield have been pivotal in setting up her teammates for scoring opportunities.

The Trojans' diverse offensive arsenal is further highlighted by contributions from multiple players. Naidelin Manzo Arreaga has shown her versatility with three assists, while freshmen Mary Orozco and Erin Manning have chipped in with crucial goals and assists from defensive and midfield positions. This depth has allowed Skyline to apply relentless pressure on opponents, with goals coming from all areas of the pitch.

Overall, the Trojans' attack has been both prolific and unselfish, with seven different players finding the back of the net so far this season. Their cohesive play and ability to distribute the ball effectively have made them one of the top offensive units in the conference.

Skyline's freshman goalkeeper, Thaily Anderberg, has been a steady presence between the posts this season. Starting all seven games, she has recorded 31 saves with a solid save percentage of .795. Despite conceding 8 goals, her reliability and shot-stopping ability have been crucial in Skyline's strong start, helping the team secure a 5-2-1 record overall.
