Masie enters his first season as an assistant coach for Skyline.

Masie attended Serra High School, where he was an All-WCAL Honorable Mention selection as a senior. He continued his playing career at Skyline. In his only season, he recorded one of the most efficient seasons in program history. Masie averaged 18.8ppg, while setting school records for the number of three-point field goals made in a single season (103), and in a single game (8). He shot 42.4% from 3 on the season and hit 84.5% of his free throws. Masie led the team in scoring, assists, steals and charges taken.

At the conclusion of his freshman year, Masie was named All-State Honorable Mention. He signed a full scholarship to continue his basketball and academic career at Vanguard University (Newport Beach, CA). At Vanguard, he helped lead the team to back-to-back National Tournaments. He started 51 of his final 52 career games, including all 28 as a senior. Masie led the team in 3FGs in both his junior and senior seasons, finishing his career at 39% 3FG.

Masie then signed a scholarship to continue his playing career as a graduate transfer at Corban University (Salem, OR). At Corban, Masie once again helped lead the team to the National Tournament. He started 22 games on the season and led the team in 3FGs.

Masie earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Business Administration from Vanguard University. He earned his Master's of Business Administration from Corban University.
