Skyline Women's Basketball defeated College of San Mateo 68-65 at CSM to open conference play.  Skyline raced out to an early 11 point lead before halftime.  Skyline shooting went cold in the 3rd quarter allowing San Mateo back into the game.  Late baskets by sophomores Tatiana Newsome, Lala Lautaimi, and Crystle Gumban helped seal the victory.  Lautaimi led all Skyline players in points and rebounds with 17 and 16 respectively.
