#8 Trojans Take Series Lead Over #17 Ohlone College, Game #2 Moved to Sunday 5/5 Due To Rain

Skyline College Dominates Ohlone in Game 1 of 3C2A Northern California Regional Series

In a high-stakes showdown at Trojan Diamond, #8 Skyline College made a statement with a dominant 16-5 victory over #17 Ohlone College in Game #1 of their best-of-three 3C2A Northern California Regional series.

The Skyline batters wasted no time asserting their offensive firepower, jumping out to an early 11-2 lead with a barrage of hits against Ohlone's pitching staff in the first two innings. Ethan Casas-Wu led the charge with an impressive five RBIs, including a two-RBI single in the second inning to spark the scoring frenzy.

Sophomore third basebman Kaito Haake launched two home runs. Elijah Fairchild and Ben Giovannetti also contributed with home runs of their own, solidifying Skyline's offensive dominance and a 16-4 lead after four innings. 

On the mound, Skyline's Charlie Dohemann (7-1) delivered a solid performance, pitching seven innings while striking out seven batters to secure the win. 

Game #2 has been rescheduled to Sunday at 12:00pm, due to rain in the forcast Saturday.
