#14 Skyline to Face #7 Mission College in Best-of-Three 1st Round CCCAA Regional Playoff

Skyline finished the season with a 25-14 record and will head back to the CCCAA baseball playoffs for the second straight season under Head Coach Tony Brunicardi. The Trojans finished 10-10 in the very tough Coast Conference North Division, which had four of six teams make the postseason bracket.

The #14 seeded Trojans will travel to face #7 seeded Mission College Saints of Santa Clara. The Saints finished the season 27-12 and 14-4 in the Coast Conference South Division. In their only meeting this season Skyline topped Mission 6-5 on March 8th. 

In 29 games this season the Trojans hit .309 as a team, clubbed 35 home runs and scored 313 runs. Sophomore Max Coupe had an outstanding season, leading the team with 57 hits, 43 runs, 10 HR, 38 RBI and 15 SB,  posting a .365 BA and slugging .686. Sophomore Preston Lau finished the regular season with a team leading .396 batting average and .491 OBP. 

On the mound Skyline featured a one-two punch of Sophomore right handed pitcher Benito Valle-Jhanda (7-1) record in 15 games over 63.1 innings and Freshman Charlie Dohemann (6-1) in 14 games and 53.1 innings. Sophomore RHP Connor Meehan shut the door for 5 saves on the season.
