For the first time since the end of the 2019 season the Skyline Women's Soccer team took the field against Ohlone College and under new head coach Mike Sharabi the Trojans produced a memorable 6-1 win to start the 2022 season. 

Freshman Brenda Walker scored in the opening minute of the game, taking a pass from Emily Dubon, putting Skyline up 1-0. Walker scored again in the 5th minute off an assist from Isabella Brenes. Emily Dubon scored Skyline's 3rd goal in the 32nd minute and it was Brenes again providing the assist.

Walker collected her hat-trick before halftime, scoring in the 45th minute to give Skyline a 4-0 lead headed into the break. 

In the second half Dominique Garibay scored two goals and Emily Dubon collected two assists. 

Freshman Goalkeeper Melanie Garcia had two saves in the game. 

Skyline will host College of the Siskiyous on Saturday, September 17th, at 12:30pm.
