The Skyline Wrestling team wrapped up a successful weekend at the C32A State Wresting Championships at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo. The Trojans placed 9th in the state meet, but only behind only NorCal Champions Fresno City College and state runner up Sacramento City College among teams from Northern California.

Skyline had three wrestlers finish in the Top 8 in their weight class, including two who placed in the top 3 and earned All-American honors. 

At 125lbs, Scotty Moore (Fr. Branham HS, San Jose) placed 3rd and earned All-American honors. 

At 165lbs, Thomas Venezia (Soph. Hillsdale HS, San Mateo) placed 7th. 

At 184lbs, Bryan Thorne (Soph. Half Moon Bay HS, Half Moon Bay) placed 2nd, winning three matches to reach the finals and earning All-American honors.
