The Skyline College Wrestling Team finished in 7th place at this years Northern California Regional Tournament and qualified six wrestler for the 3C2A State Championships that will be held December 8th & 9th at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.

Under Head Coach James Haddon Skyline finished 2nd in the Big 8 Conference in dual meets. The Trojans suffered one loss to eventual Nor Cal Champions Fresno City College, but finished 4-1 with criteria wins over Modesto JC and Chabot College and two wins over SJ Delta College.

The follwoing Trojans will complete for a state title in the respective weight class:
At 125lbs Scotty Moore is the 3rd ranked wrestler in the state.
At 157lbs Nathan Vasquez is the 6th ranked wrestler in the state.
At 165lbs Thomas Venezia is the 8th ranked wrestler in the state.
At 165lbs Will Smith
At 174lbs Luke Peasley
At 184lbs Bryan Thorne is the 2nd ranked wrestler in the state.
