Skyline Takes Series with CSM, Claims Top Spot in Coast Conference North

Skyline (22-9, 11-1) outscored district rival College of San Mateo 44-17 in their three game series this week to take 2 of 3 games and move into the top spot in the Coast Conference North Division with a 11-1 record. 

The Trojans dropped Game #1 of the series 10-6, but rebounded to take Game #2, scoring a season high 24 runs in a 24-8 win. Freshman Eathan Reader (Steward Hall, SF) 5-7, hr, 5 RBI and Kaito Haake (So. Los Gatos) 2-6, GS HR, 6 RBI lead the Skyline offense. 

Skyline took the series with a 10-3 win on Saturday. Will Hansen (Fr., Los Gatos) picked up his sixth win of the season, tossing 6 innings, allowing 4 hits and 3 runs with 6 strikeouts. 

The Trojans will open a 3-game series at home on Tuesday April 9th @ 2:30pm with second place Chabot College (23-8, 9-2). Game #2 is at Chabot April 13th @ 2:30pm and the series finale will be at Skyline on Saturday April 16th @1pm.
