The Trojans started fast, scoring twice in the opening 10 minutes of the game. Forward Sierra Olson tallied the first of her three goals in the 4th minute off an assist from defender Michala O'Donoghue and again in the 7th minute off a corner kick sent into the box by Molly Moock.

Ohlone took a 3-2 lead into halftime, but the Trojans were able to tie the game in the 50th minute when forward Molly Moock took a pass from Sierra Olson and chipped the ball over the Ohlone goalkeeper.
