Skyline Men's Soccer hosted American River College on Tuesday in their final non-conference match of the season.
The Trojans opened the scoring in the 4th minute. Marcos Alvarez scored his first goal of the season, latching on to a well placed pass from Marcos Sahagun and slotting it past the ARC keeper.
American River tied the game in the 30th minute and the game headed to the half time break 1-1.
Both teams had chances to break the deadlock in the second half, but Skyline had to settle for a draw to close out the pre-conference schedule with a 2-2-2 record.
Skyline will host district rival Canada College on Tuesday, Oct.1st @ 2pm to open up Coast Conference play.
